Poll, anyone?

General News, Site News

I can now create polls. Here is one:

Now if you want a more important poll, try this one:

{democracy:2}

I will be putting the daily poll in the right column. Someone will have to change it every day.  I decided it would be better to simply post a new poll inside of a thread whenever a poll is needed.

    I saw that this morning, and I am trying to find out why.

    The nearest thing I can think of is that you don’t have Java enabled in your browser. There are a couple of embedded payloads in the comment code that check for the amount of time a person is on the page before commenting, and whether that person has a Java-enabled browser. (spambots don’t)

    I have done some tinkering here — it is all about the fine-tuning — and hopefully this will fix the problem for you. If your comments get eaten again, don’t worry, I will pull them out.

    Java enabled? Yikes! I am clueless here. I will look for a Java icon and see if it’s turned “on.”

    Don’t worry about it now, Chris. I think I have solved the problem.
