While We Argue Candidates, Congress is set to SCREW US by giving bush what he wants AGAIN!

They are shoving telecom immunity into FISA and down our collective throats!

I am keeping this short because I am truly with out words, except the four letter variety.

House Democratic leadership: not just complicit but also self-destructive. The signs are unmistakably clear that what was always inevitable — full compliance by the House Democratic leadership with Bush’s demands on warrantless eavesdropping and telecom amnesty — is now imminent.

  1. Frank the Liberal Says:

Good work Kev, I talked to a couple LAs in DC on this very issue, and I don’t think there is any sense of urgency to push this crap through by anybody BUT the Democratic “leadership”. (If ya really want to know what’s actually happening, talk to an LA NOT the congress-critter) You’re right, the ONLY way to save us from the tele-corps is to call the HELL out of the “leadership”. If they (finally!) get the idea that we,as rank and file activists, will get SO disgusted with their limp-dick pandering to the even MORE limp-dick administration,we’ll just sit out the next election, they MIGHT grow a set. GOD DAMN am I disappointed in the “first woman speaker”!!! She was touted as HUGE step forward for women in politics. This drives home my contention that race/gender/creed has NO business in our decision whether to support or deny support for ANY one.
