Barack Obama is NOT a Muslim….GET IT??!!

Wed, Mar 5, 2008

General News

Barack Obama is a Christian and HAS been all his life. Plain, pure and simple, no bullflop. No more explanation needed. DONE! If Hillary Clinton wants you to think that in the spineless way she answered the question on 60 minutes, it shows that she has sunk to a sub-septic level and should quit now for the sake of the party AND the country…PERIOD!!!!!

    Frank,

I TOTALLY disagree with you! She did not do anything like what you are insinuating. Yes she maybe played it a little political but come on, she did nothing to cause this kind of outrage by you or anyone else.

The following is from the article you linked to.

“You don’t believe that Senator Obama’s a Muslim?” Kroft asked Sen. Clinton.

“Of course not. I mean, that, you know, there is no basis for that. I take him on the basis of what he says. And, you know, there isn’t any reason to doubt that,” she replied.

“You said you’d take Senator Obama at his word that he’s not…a Muslim. You don’t believe that he’s…,” Kroft said.

“No. No, there is nothing to base that on. As far as I know,” she said.

    “It’s just scurrilous…?” Kroft inquired.

“Look, I have been the target of so many ridiculous rumors, that I have a great deal of sympathy for anybody who gets, you know, smeared with the kind of rumors that go on all the time,” Clinton said.

Now please do this. Please compare this to when Obama was letting the media feed on the supposed “racist” remarks that Bill Clinton said. He let that fester, he let that grow because it worked for him in SC and elsewhere. He never called her or Bill a racist but he played a similar and in my opinion worse word game.

Obama is not clean, Clinton is not clean but neither of them SAID the other was or is a racist or a dreaded muslim.

I really find your “spineless” and “sub-septic” parts of your comments to be a little much.

This campaign is not even close to being a true negative battle. If Obama is the nominee, he better learn to fight or the rove machine will eat him alive.

Sorry, but this is how I feel.

….. I hope my blockquoting works in the comments.

This is what I like about the Clintons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGW38Zy4bJo.This what I got:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/04/clinton-mccain-has-more-_n_89758.html.I don’t like this kind of crap, and I don’t remember the Obama campaign doing shit like this except when Michelle tried to turn the “fairy tale” comment Bill made about the Obama Iraq voting record into some racist BS. I said publicly that her comment was bullflop and a chickenshit slap at people who don’t have a racist cell in their body. Hillary Clinton creates her own problems by trying to use the very things the neo-tards have used against her AND Bill for decades. I agree that the SUPPORTERS on BOTH sides are acting like imbeciles like this:http://frontburner.dmagazine.com/2008/03/04/precinct-3549-indian-hills-a-rogue-precinct-chair/.SOwith all the best intentions in the world, the Democratic party is ripping itself to bloody shreds. I think the math looks better for Obama than Clinton. At what point do we all start working together to defeat the rats?

BTW, I have NO idea how to do links in comments. So Kev, your blockquotes work MUCH better than my links.

    Frank,

I understand about the “hope” thing. But as Bill said in that video, I want people to “think and hope” not just hope for “change”. Give me something to think about besides just change and hope.

The math is that.. math. None of us really knows who will end up with the most delegates. The chance goes to Obama but it is not certain. I see a shotgun wedding in their future.

I do not believe the Democratic party is being ripped to shreds, I believe the supporters are doing it to each other but the majority of the voters are not the hardcore supporters.

Hillary Clinton did not use fear like the neo-cons. They use 9/11 and terror at every chance they get. Personally I neither like or dislike the 3am ad and other things like that. She did not lie or use Obama’s name, picture or anything else in that ad. It was more about her then anything else. She was pushing and trumpeting her creds.

The 60 min thing, I think you and others blew way out of proportion. If that was bad, then what was it for Barack and Michelle to feed the racist nonsense?

As I said before, neither are clean. Obama came up through Chicago politics whacking off his opponents using court challenges, etc. so he could run unopposed. Hillary Clinton came through the years of Arkansas and then the years of the righties beating up her and her family and the fights that needed to happen to survive the onslaught.

Both of them have energized a HUGE amount of Democrats and New Democrats! They BOTH are raising money like the devil! They both have about a 50/50 split on everything. This is not a runaway Obama race.

Plus, all of the nonsense I see about GE polls and head to head match ups mean nothing. If these meant something, we would have Kerry as prez having won by a wide margin, John Edwards would be kicking ass (because he lead every head to head poll for about a year) and Hillary Clinton would be the nominee.

Either way this goes, there will be PISSED off supporters on both sides. Remember that it truly is about a 50/50 split of popular votes, delegates and even money.

Am I mistaken, or did Hillary grow up in Chi? I agree that there will be a LOT of pissed off supporters by the time this is over. Now all we gotta do is get them all pissed off at the rats instead of each other. I hope that BOTH candidates start pointing out that there is STILL a war, the price of gas, the oil company profits, the foreclosure rate, the credit card company sodomy, the un-employment rate, outsourcing, poison toys toothpaste dog food medicine etc etc.

  5. kevin22262 Says:

Yes Hillary Clinton was raised in Chicago, but I am not sure how long she lived there. Not sure what that means tho, since she was not involved in the political machine in Chicago as Obama has been.

Your last point is spot on. I agree, but as in all races they must show the contrasting differences between each other. That is part of the problem John Edwards and Hillary both had. They were all talking about how they are all so close to being the same politically. So if that was the case, then gee why not go with the person who gives fantastic speeches?

This campaign is not even close to being dirty or mean from either side. The media may try and hype it to be nasty, dirty and mean but it is not. Most of the mean this campaign year has been repub to repub and now repubs towards Hillary and Barack.

Since Hillary and Barack are not running a joint campaign, then they must run against each other since they both are trying to be elected for the same job.
