Dennis Kucinich….ON THIS WEEK’S EQUAL TIME!!!!

UPDATE!!! HERE’S the link. He was AWSOME!! As I mentioned on the previous post about Rep. Kucinich’s articles of impeachment, I called his DC office to express my support for his resolution. While I had them on the phone, I asked about the possibility of having Dennis on our show at some point. I mentioned that a few months ago, he was in Tacoma and he was supposed to call us on the air, but of course being a hot commodity and we being Democrats and all…. Well, Traci and I went to the venue after the show and met and shook hands with him. I mentioned that we were sorry he couldn’t call the show and he said that we would try again later. I’m willing to bet that he remembers that brief encounter because he cares about people and is also a really smart guy.
Guess what we’ll be talking about? Again, as I mentioned in the previous post, he stood on the House floor for over four hours making his case for impeachment point by point with well documented evidence with laws and constitutional references backing him up. We’ll also ask about the responsibility of congress to head the oath they took to preserve,protect and defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. He has scheduled a full half-hour. It should be an interesting and informative hour, join us.

Wish I’d been aware of Kucinich’s appearance on the show. He’s my personal political hero. Also wish the press had given him time to state his case when the battle for the, sorry, but I really believe this, and it’s MY party I’m about to mud sling about, but when the battle for the weeniecrat nomination was first being fought. It didn’t surprise but disgusted me. I’m used to opinion being presented as news, and only SOME opinions being aired or published or allowed to be presented in any way. I am also pissed off at the weenies for just wringing their hands about Rove not answering his Contempt Citation. At this point Rove the Manipulator & I, the Frustrated Guy of Grouch are in agreement, we both hold the Congress in contempt.

Sorry about - attempting - two posts in a row. I just finished listening to Mr. K’s comment about bringing 60 items of impeachment to Congress if the Judicial Committee has not acted on his original reading of impeachment. Those 30 days are long past & I must lament, I see no effort on Kucinich’s part to do as he said. My hero, another weeniecrat? Did I miss it?

Hi guyofgrouch,and thanks for listening. Congressman Kucinich DID present another resolution in July. It was only one count. They DID do a kind of hearing, sort of.Read about it here.http://www.baltimorechronicle.com/2008/073008Lindorff.shtml.There is a LOT of frustration about all the crap that has been thrown at our country during the last seven years, and it looks like it ain’t over YET. We can only pray that IF the Dems take REAL control over our government, there will accountability soon after……if we survive that long.

Another wimp out. My God! Do we havta try to get Kucinich outta office too, along with Nanci? I do not think I can get any more frustrated or angry with MY party. They are the weeniecrats from now on until a backbone develops - and - as a believer in evolution I suspect eventually a backbone will develop in at least ONE weeniecrat sometime off in the foggy future. Too damn far off to be of any help. I have the small consolation of being so old I will not live to see the full effect of bush’s bungling & the weenies hand wringing.
